Dr. S. Michelle Fairgrieve-Park MD, CCFP, Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Family Medicine, has chosen to establish her practice at Heritage Medical Clinic in Edmonton.
Dr. Fairgrieve-Park completed her undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Calgary before pursuing her medical journey in Edmonton. With over 30 years of experience in the field, she obtained her medical degree with distinction in 1990 and completed her Family Medicine residency in 1992. Driven by her passion for family medicine and maternity care, she takes joy in the diverse opportunities this specialty offers.
Dr. Fairgrieve-Park’s commitment to teaching is evident as she mentors second-year Family Medicine Residents and students, guiding the next generation of family physicians who also possess obstetrical privileges.
Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Fairgrieve-Park finds solace in nature through hiking, biking, and running, which help alleviate the stresses of her work. She also indulges in her love for travel and baking, which brings her immense joy. It’s important to note that Dr. Fairgrieve-Park extends her compassionate nature to her beloved rescued dogs, who hold a special place in her heart.
