Dr. Cristina Ticu, MD, CCFP, Associate Partner at Heritage Medical Clinic, embarked on her journey in Eastern Europe, where she obtained her medical education. In 2004, she made a life-altering choice to relocate to Canada, embracing new personal and professional opportunities. Driven by her thirst for knowledge, she pursued a PhD in Biochemistry at the prestigious University of Alberta. Following her doctorate, she completed a Family Medicine residency in Edmonton, working alongside an exemplary and diverse team at the Heritage Medical Clinic.
Specializing in women’s health and prenatal care, she is committed to delivering comprehensive care in family practice. Dr. Ticu’s unwavering dedication to improving patients’ lives drives her to continue facilitating healing and wellness.
Beyond medicine, she finds joy in outdoor activities like biking and diving, as well as in linguistics, immersing herself in the study of different languages.
